Country Road welcomes a big sister (and brother) in new label Trenery which recently launched. Named after CR’s first offices, situated on Trenerry Crescent in Collingwood since way back when, the label aims for a more mature clientele who are often overlooked in the fashion stakes. The idea is to take the classic, easy styling of CR’s iconic pieces, pare them back and shift the shape to suit an older body and style. Though I’m far younger than their target market I could easily see myself in a few of the pieces, particularly the trench coats, the shirt dresses ...
So if you aren’t busy having a fun time over in Ararat at the inaugural Blueprint Festival on the 19th of September then perhaps you could be chilling in Collingwood at the Tote to celebrate Chapterfest. That psychedelic Japanese band Tenniscoats are playing along with local favourites like the cutesy Pikelet, post-punk heroes Primitive Calculators, the dangerous Dick Diver, the.. twerpish (??) Congratulations to our tutors Chris and Meagan on their marriage! After many years together, they tied the knot on the 1st of March to the delight of friends and family.Chris and Meagan were founding tutors and committee members of the homework club and the club's success is due in large part to their hard work and inspiration.Presently honeymooning in sunny Penang, we wish them all the best and eagerly await their return to the exciting world of homework.
