I need to find somewhere to live pretty soonish, and I would like to remain in Fitzroy/Collingwood or as close to either as possible (I’m actually really liking Clifton Hill at the moment). Anyone know of anyone who’s looking for a housemate? I’m looking to pay $180 a week max (ideally). I went to Tassie last week and I really liked it and I really want to go back in August/September to see Caz in her production of ‘The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas’. I went to a good friend’s going away party Thursday night. Got home about 6am Friday morning and suddenly wasn’t tired anymore (despite not being able to keep my eyes open sitting at her kitchen table ten minutes earlier). Went for a bit of an Exploration in Collingwood; to somewhere I have been a number of times. I watched three hot air balloons make their way over Collingwood and disappear into the distance. Morning sunshine; lovely. I also scored a cool Everfresh sticker which I found stuck to in internal silo wall; it is now displayed proudly on my handbag. ...
Here I am, enjoying the silence. I am a little belated with this entry – I took this picture nine days ago – but it makes me happy, so I shall share it with the world whoever happens to accidentally stumble across this blog and have a peek. Up here in this spot I can forget the mundanity of my daily life, the stress and anxiety, everyone who exists. Up here I have the peace and sunshine to myself, save for a couple of pigeons.
