Last thursday night HYPEMUCH attended the opening of Michael Steele’s solo show “Accumulating”, which is being held at the always awesome exhibition space, Gorker Gallery. - Michael Steele’s latest “cluster” series is like an acid-induced-brain-explosion, where all your child hood memories flood back to your frontal lobe in an instant. Using iconic characters/stuff from video games, movies, commercials and everything in between, while all being executed using a huge variety of mediums… there’s definitely a little bit of everything in this series. On Tues Oct 13th we officially opened Justine Austen's new solo exhibition, Monster Zoo at Pieces of Eight Gallery. It was a great night with Justine giving an artist talk to an enthusiastic crowd of friends, family and clientele. The exhibition runs until Sat Nov 14th, make sure you don't miss out! On a late winter evening last week, Tuesday 18th August, we officially opened our current exhibition by Tessa Blazey. This exhibition launches her as our newly represented artist, and we are very excited to show her 'Fabrication' solo exhibition at Pieces of Eight. The work consists of wearables inspired by geometry and mineral structures. Read more about the exhibition in our last post and interview with Tessa.
