- Authors who produce quality local content are invited to participate or can volunteer to have their content included.
- Authors consistently tag their content about places with categories, tags or labels using relevant suburb names.
- RSS feeds of these suburb specific categories, tags or labels are created by the site editor.
- A wordpress blog is created and the FeedWordPress plugin is installed.
- All the feeds for each suburb are added to the FeedWordPress interface, which syndicates the content from the feeds and places each individual post from the feed source in a new post in the local site.
- Once set up, this process continues automatically, updating the local site when new posts are published from contributing sources.
- The local sites only publish approx 100 word excerpts of posts, with links to the original sources for the full articles.
- This syndication should increase the readership and Google search rank of contributing sites.
