Cocoro

Last week I ate at the Cocoro Japanese Pottery Cafe on Smith St for the first time and it was fantastic. Firstly, my friend and I had the Gobo (Burdock) Salad, which is a root vegetable grated with a savory dressing that includes chilli.

Next we received the Atlantic Salmon Sashimi, which was slightly seared on one side. Delicious.

The potato salad was the best looking dish (thought the Gobo does look amazing). It contains cucumber and is presented like icecream. Tres chic.

Our final dish was the Pan-fried Butter Squid, which was also very good.

Cocoro is lovedly inside and very welcoming. The food and service make me look forward to returning soon.
