Over the long weekend artists Phibs and Deb and friends (video of a previous project) started work on a massive mural on Rose St near the Rose St Markets. I went back several times over the weekend to watch the work developing.
Update 14 December 2008: thanks to John, whose comment below reminded me that this mural is based on the 1977 animated film Wizards (IMDB and Wikipedia), which Deb told me was a favourite of hers and Phibs.
