Glad you're still enjoying. The smoking issue is tricky, our options are allowing it in the courtyard or forcing people out the front (just as iffy) or not at all. We did consider the not at all option but ruled it out. I have the same concerns as you and I'm a smoker, albeit a considerate one. The problem lies with people who are less so. If someone was eating at a table close to me I'd move away to a clear area to smoke or I'd wait until they've finished eating and then ask them if they minded, however some people just spark up regardless. We may have a think about putting a sign up asking people to consider their fellow diners before lighting up and see how that goes. On the same subject the overspill from the club next door on the weekends, since the new laws came into effect, is a pain in the arse, same lack of consideration for other people....we regularly have to move people from our street furniture or from sitting in our doorway WHEN WE STILL HAVE CUSTOMERS!
