the banality of evil

On the wall of Fishers Lane next to the Artery is a most remarkable work of street art. Titled ‘The banality of evil’, it consists of three rows of A4 black and white watercolour illustrations of a man in a black balaclava going about his daily business, washing the dishes, mowing the lawn and playing a guitar. It’s powerful and engrossing; I spent quite a long time looking at each image. The photos below show the whole work in sections of (from left to right).

    the awesome artist of these near 70 copies her watercolour paintings, punk rocker meg, asked if we were keen to help her with some pasting of her art. so hotel waste bin, flour, bottle of water, brush and art in hand we followed meg to the lane and started pasting.
    its awesome to see everyone else is impressedwith her work as much as we are!!
