Johnston St furniture precinct

Two new shops have joined the furniture precinct on Johnston St. Twenty21 had a small shop on Elgin St in Carlton and opened a larger one on the corner of Johnston and Hertford St a while back. Now the Elgin one has closed and Johnston St is established.

The newcomer on the opposite corner is Guy Mathews Vintage Industrial Furniture, which looks rather like Tarlo and Graham on Chapel St in Windsor (in other words full of wonderful treasures).

    I am the owner of twenty21 and now an keen reader of Fitzoyalty. Great work Brian! I feel so privileged for twenty21 to be part of this most amazing and lively suburb. Keep en eye on our shop. We are trying to be just a little bit more than a 20th century vintage shop: we are planning some exhibitions from local artists and mid-20th century Australian pottery in the next year or so…
