lunch at Parker Pies, Rutherglen

rutherglen

Parker Pies in Rutherglen has a reputation for delicious baked pastry treats that is well deserved. After numerous wine tasting in the Rutherglen area I stopped in for a late light lunch. It took every reserve of self discipline not to gorge myself on the most delicious pies I have ever tasted! The specialist pie blog PiEcon only reviewed Parker’s basic meat pie and if they should go back and do a thorough tasting of every Parker product.

Below is my Buffalo Bill (buffalo cooked in a rich bacon, onion and garlic sauce) and my girlfriend’s Chicken and Asparagus (roasted chicken mixed with tasty cheese and a generous serve of asparagus).
