Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix – the track at night
The lighting system used for the first time to allow a Formula 1 Grand Prix to be held at night was a triumph. The track was brightly lit and caused no problems for the drivers. It also looked amazing for spectators at the track and on television. I will remember this experience for a long time.

The Anderson bridge from Queen Elizabeth walk.

The Esplanade bridge from Queen Elizabeth walk.

The track at turn 12.

The lights from underneath as dusk became night.

The Fullerton hotel at turn 13.

The Marina Bay floating stadium and the Singapore Flyer from the Esplanade bridge.

The grandstand and city lights from the walkabout (general admission) spectator area at turn 7 during qualifying on Saturday night.
