habitat is not natural

The billboard on the corner of Queens Parade and Hoddle St in Clifton Hill is routinely vandalised, usually to the improvement of the message it seeks to convey. This is typical of the correction and improvement required to make such unsightly things palatable in the inner north. Respect.

Nature prefers public transport to the cars/4WDs that clog that bit of road.
It may prefer habitat to train lines but humans, like it or not, need to get around. So why not go with a form of transport that creates a smaller footprint. Yeah, bikes would be better but it’d be a step in the right direction.

With regard to the “Nature prefers public transport” ads – check out the one at the top of the hill in High Street, Northcote (travelling towards Bundoora). It is the picture of a tree with the tree roots underground in the shape of the train system. A genius has crossed out “nature prefers” and written “is rooted.”
