relaxing at the new Damask bar

Damask is a new bar above the Fitz cafe on the corner of Brunswick St and Kerr St. You enter from Kerr St near the new mural painted by Deb and Phibs. When I first saw this, I did not realise the bar was there, but it was commissioned by the owners of Damask (who are also the owners of the Fitz).

In the front of the bar overlooking Brunswick St it is dark, cosy and formal; outside on the deck at the rear it feels more casual and there is usually a lovely breeze to cool you down as you are elevated above the street. Damask has been open for a couple of months now and is sure to be a relaxing place to hang out over summer.
