top gigs of 2008
2008 was a very good year for music in Melbourne, and I was able to see some of my favourite performers including the Jesus and Mary Chain for the first time. In descending order these were my favourite shows of the year.
3 Pinky Beecroft and the White Russians at the East Brunswick Club hotel
4 Jesus and Mary Chain at the Palace
5 Adrian Belew at the Corner hotel

Me too! Once a decade though is not promising. I saw her open for Dylan in 1998, and she returned in 2008…
