It features stories on the suburb of Fitzroy in Melbourne, Australia, and reflections on life from a socially libertarian, economically socialist, culturally anarchistic and radically individualistic point of view.

the Evelyn hotel adds some colour

I love this is but am honest enough to admit my ignorance and say that I don’t know what it is – a flower, a bird, an insect? It appeared on the Brunswick St wall of the Evelyn hotel in late December 2008.

Update 21 January 2009: thanks to Blacklodge for identifying the artist – it is Cena7 from Brazil. There’s another example on the corner of Brunswick St. North and Scotchmer St. North Fitzroy.
