Artist Deb has been attracting a lot of attention recently. Her commissioned work at IDS on Brunswick St has been (allegedly) critiqued, and now her famous feline on Rose St has been customised. If you bludge on unemployment benefits you get criticised. If you are successful and are self supporting (I don’t actually know Deb’s financial status so I am only speculating) then you also get criticised. What’s an artist to do?
