breakfast at Pheast48, Armadale

On a recent Saturday morning I had a delicious breakfast at Pheast48 at 48 Wattletree Rd Armadale. My friend and I shared the French toast with bacon and maple syrup and the eggs Benedict, which had a particularly tangy hollandaise sauce. We sat in the individual church pews you can see in the front window in the photo below. The interior is warm and cosy with art on the ceiling as well as the wall. It’s also on the walls of the large rear courtyard.

Pheast48 is a suburban secret that deserves to succeed because the food and coffee are excellent. The current owners have had the cafe for about two months and are working hard to make it even better. The previous owners operated the cafe and a travel business upstairs for about 18 months before moving on. If you’re in the area you could keep on walking past the generic cafes on High St and go to Wattletree Rd for a much better breakfast.

Hi – I have been to Pheast48 and the cafe is fabulous.
They have a chalkboard in the rear courtyard so my children are free to play while my wife and I sit and relax. Also you should check out the kids day they have once a month there – this April its Easter Saturday with the Easter Bunny !
Love the food – the ambience and the location!! It is my fav local haunt.

I do like to get out of the hood sometimes and try something different, and it’s always a pleasure to recommend a great new place to people!
