The last time I ate at Red Rice on Brunswick St I was without my camera, so when the opportunity came to eat there again, and I made sure I was better prepared. You can see where they get their name from. Red Rice does excellent food at reasonable prices in a pleasant and quiet space where I feel very comfortable. It’s the perfect place if you want to eat and talk rather than eat and watch other people because it is too noisy to hear yourself.
It was my dining companion’s first visit to Red Rice, and we agreed that the food was delicious, with our choices of red rice, kaffir lime scallops and grilled eggplant all very satisfying.
