Shire cafe on Victoria St (on the corner of Fitzroy St) makes one of the best breakfasts in Fitzroy. This is the ultra delicious sweet corn fritters with bacon, avocado, pesto and goat’s cheese. The service is friendly, the coffee is very good and it’s cosy inside. Like Min Lokal, Shire rewards those who explore Fitzroy beyond the main streets.
