Having been to Min Lokal a lot for breakfast (reviews of visits one, two and three), I asked a fellow Fitzroy resident recently where she would take a visiting friend if she wanted to impress them. She replied Min Lokal. So when I had another friend visiting from Perth recently that’s where we went, and the breakfasts and the coffee were relished.

Two of our group of four had dishes I have reviewed previously. I chose the parmesan polenta with a poached egg (above), which was fantastic, and the adafina (below, which is baked eggs with tomato, harissa, sumac and olives) was also raved about.
