coffee at Dr Java

The coffee made in many cafes in Fitzroy is based on strong dark blends with a powerful taste. I like this kind of coffee, with the best examples being at Newtown Social Club and Min Lokal, but it’s also nice to try some gentler, like the coffee at Aquilana Pasticceria and Dr Java. The coffee at Dr Java is reasonably strong but their roast is nutty and chocolatey. It’s a great place to linger drinking coffee and reading the newspaper on the weekend.
