dinner at the North Fitzroy Arms
On a cold winter evening a walk north in the brisk air gives me a great appetite for hearty winter food. I enjoyed a fantastic dinner recently at the Haskins restaurant in the North Fitzroy Arms, which was positively reviewed recently by Words and Flavours and Sarah Cooks. My friend chose the risotto with kangaroo and beetroot and I had the veal scaloppine with gnocchi and spinach. It was nourishing and very satisfying!

I discovered that my friend likes to play with her food as she promptly turned her sticky date pudding into a snowman. My apple strudel had less comic potential but was sweet and decadent. The Arms is thoroughly recommended.
