Bebida makes great breakfasts and amazing coffee. On a recent Sunday I was totally satisfied with my Canadian French toast, bacon and maple syrup, a long macchiato and time lazing over the paper.

Bebida have got a bit of a Canadian thing going on lately. Why just yesterday they held a brunch with a beaver-related theme.

Oh that’s so funny… not really. Did anyone go to the naked brunch Fringe festival event at Bebida yesterday?

Yes I was at the naked brunch and it was the best event ever. Congratulations to Stuart for hosting the event and Natalie for organising it, and all the performers and those who came to support it. When you are naked there is a peaceful friendliness and comfort and it is much easier to engage and make conversation. Also Stuart’ fruit salad, hotcakes and coffee were delicious. I think a once a month nude brunch would be a roaring success or just run the cafe nude for a day one day per month. Call it Spanish Sunday.

I was also at the naked brunch and flew to be in the cafe on that faithful day in October from Perth. It was the coolest thing to experience. Naked bodies all figuratively bouncing off each other, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Bring on Spanish Sunday!
