As the SLV notes state, The Punters Club was a hotel that was established 1987 as a live music venue; it closed down in 2002. It’s now the home of cheap good pizza (weeknights) and brawling bogans (Friday and Saturday nights, usually about 2am as they leave the venue).

Sambal Malaysia is a new place that opened only a few weeks ago. They do excellent noodles and rice, all freshly made to order. I had the char kuey teow first time I went (unfortunately without my camera) but was back a few days later for the ‘me sing’ noodles with lots of prawns and Chinese sausage. OMG, WTF and LOL. I am overdosing on interactions with stupid people at the moment. Two in one day yesterday necessitated some venting.
First I got an email from ‘Clarence’ from a marketing agency asking for my advertising rates. Listen dude, I don’t accept advertising, I’ve written about this at length and if you had bothered to find out anything about Fitzroyalty you should have seen this before contacting me.
If you had read my thoughts on the decline and hopeful failure of the advertising business model then you would not have contacted me at all because it’s a waste of your time and mine.…
Call me cynical, but if you spend more time on your own work rather than pasting over that of others, then maybe you’d be getting somewhere. But you’re not serious and no one believes you.
