Two Saturdays ago this was the scene outside Sutton gallery on Brunswick St. A tin of red paving paint had been thrown against the wall. It did not appear random – the tin looked like it had been deliberately placed on the footpath after it had been emptied.

Hmm. Assuming this area is under a Heritage Overlay, I wonder if a planning permit was granted beforehand. LOL

ha I walked right past thinking I’d never heard of pavement paint before… I was so hungover I didn’t even contemplate an art installation, was more focussed on the prospect of coffee!
