It had mainly prepackaged drinks (beer and mixers) and only the worst cheapest wine. You know, the kind of place owned by people who don’t drink alcohol. In an area like this, the profit margins come from quality, not quantity. Only a few doors down, Brunswick St Cellars also has the cheap stuff but a good range of better wine.

I live above this and was very sad to see it go (now I have to put shoes on to get my beer). I spoke to the owners and apparently Yong Green will be expanding into the space.
