The longtime Brunswick St guitar shop has relocated to Elgin St Carlton. Will the retail mix along this stretch of Brunswick St change again? Will it be food, fashion or something else that moves in here?

Wow, where will the hipsters buy their instruments now? This shop long died long ago when they decided to stop stocking decent quality instruments in favour of cheap chinese imports

Checked their website and they’ve moved to Elgin street in Carlton just around the corner from Brunswick street. Chinese Imports?????……. I don’t think so. They are well known as having some of the best vintage guitars in Australia.

Went to the new shop and cudos to those guys. Still got cool guitars on the wall and as always happy to see you. Chinese imports…….. ummmm hello Lenny Kravitz was in there buying a vintage tele last time I was there and there is a photo of James Hetfield on there Facebook page buying a guitar. The guys there also sold a guitar to Santana last time he toured. Apparently half of their vintage stuff doesn’t make it to the floor it’s mostly pre sold.
Sad that they did move because the stores been there forever but now they are next to the Music Swop Shop so it’s cool everything is in the same street.
