So what if you don’t like a particular piece of street art? You taggers are not judges who get to decide what everyone else looks at. Your hostile destruction of creative expressions that are infinitely more sophisticated and appealing than your illiterate garbage demonstrates how pathetic and passive aggressive you are. This example is a work by Babygrrl on Rose St near the markets.

Agree entirely Brian. There’s another great piece that has been similarly vandalized on the side od a building in Argyle St opposite the Australia Post office.

Agreed. Tags bother me less than badly drawn, badly placed paste-ups

The combination is better than the parts. The original art is actually pretty crappy. the tag is stupid. But together…It’s better.

“The combination is better than the parts.”
Which parts would they be?

If you look you’ll see a tag by those guys under the poster – they simply came back and put a tag back over the poster, as the poster went over them.
l’m sure they are not saying what gets to stay up or what is of value… they are simply saying “you put your work over mine, l’ll put mine over yours”.
pretty simple really.
