I also managed a hoop class with Deanne in Tokyo at Fab studio's. I learnt alot, especially how to start dancing in the hoop and enjoying instead of always focusing on tricks! Plus I learnt a few extra tips on tricks. I also discovered I like snowboarding. Snowy, hoopy fun. We came back to Australia and basically had to turn around and get ready for the Rainbow Serpent festival where ...

We want to thank all of you who visited our many chrissy markets to either chat or buy gifts. We are now very low on stock and will have a busy, busy January replenishing with new socks, patterns and fabrics. The most satisfying part of our success is that we have raised over $150 dollars to donate to the Mercy Breastmilk Bank, due to open in 2010. We will up that to $200 and I hope that many of you are able to make donations also. To find out how to donate, visit the Mercy Breastmilk Bank Website Stay tuned for new ...

I want to thank everyone who has given me such lovely compliments on my hoops at CERES markets and the J studio fundraiser markets. It was great to meet a wider community of hoop lovers, teach new people and also provide hoops to lots of happy little people and also a few adults. Much joy to you all with your hoops!I love making the hoops, playing with colour and form. It's been great to have some repeat customers, whose children have been having so much fun with the hoops they've come back for more and passed onto ...
Christmas is a time for giving Charity Bells is a community arts project of the Northcote Business Association where local schools decorate fiberglass bells to compete for a prize for their school. The decorated bells are then placed in High St Northcote shops to show off the children’s handiwork and at the same time acting as a symbol to encourage people to make donations to local charities. The Northcote Business Association loves Christmas and the Christmas Bells is a great way for traders and their patrons to get into the spirit of the season and give what they can to ...

Hi everyone, most of you are aware that the wonderful Chuckles scared us all half to death by arriving very suddenly at 28 weeks gestation. November 24-30 is National Premature Birth Awareness Week and obviously is very important to us. Chuckles designs will be donating $2 from every sale during that week to the new Mercy Breast Milk Bank to help all of those amazing little miracles in the NICU and SCN that can’t get enough milk from their very tired and stressed and sometimes sick mummies. This is an amazing cause and the first of its kind in Melbourne. ...

Well I have been toying with the idea of micro monkeys for quite some time, but even the normal baby monkeys can be fiddly. Today I finally gave in and made my first micro monkey. I love, love, love him but it must be said that Chuckles herself is quite besotted with new mini monkey. They are very fiddly and socks are harder to come by in baby size but I will ensure I have a reasonable range of Micro Monkeys available at the first market in the ‘6 markets in 3 weeks’ Marathon. Come meet the micro monkeys at; Kris Kringle ...

Thanks to all of you who came by to doo some early chrissy shopping at the Teeny Tiny Sisters Market yesterday. It was a great day, and I think my decision to only go through the rest of the market twice means I may have even retained some of my profits! Scored some great clothes for chuckles from our neighbour, Knuffle Kid. So lovely, she’ll be the funkiest kid on the block with her new rags. Grnadma Chuckles received an overwhelmingly good response to her new clothing range and we promise to have more sizes and patterns ready for the ...
