Sunday was a lovely sunny afternoon and Spring was in the air...it's been such a wonderful wet Winter that our gardens are all looking very lush and even the strawbales are growing.
Well, despite some rather dramatic weather we had a good turn out at the AGM on Sunday,(including our newest and youngest member in a very stylish sleeping bag type ensemble)and we managed to cover a fair bit of business in between tea and cakes.Office bearers were elected and issues of plot maintenance and membership obligations were raised. There will be un updated version of the rules coming shortly and we will email everyone to let them know what's what.

Last Sunday, Ros (and Kai), Chris, Pauline, Alistair and Rebecca worked on turning over the compost heaps and rebuilding them. We called ourselves the "Compost Club" after Pauline made a comment about wanting to be in the Qantas Club and we all misheard it as "Compost Club". Well really- which would you rather be a part of...? Don't answer that.We actually had a great day and managed to distribute quite a lot of premium compost around the fruit trees.

Wow - what a start to the year. First I was in Japan for Xmas and and New Years. That was amazing being immersed in snow for those 4 weeks. I also managed a hoop class with Deanne in Tokyo at Fab studio's. I learnt alot, especially how to start dancing in the hoop and enjoying instead of always focusing on tricks! Plus I learnt a few extra tips on tricks. I also discovered I like snowboarding. Snowy, hoopy fun.
