Formerly a little greek bakery which was known for its marvelous crostoli, Hausfrau in Yarraville is a charming bakery and cafe. Here the coffee plays second fiddle to beautiful looking cakes, pastries, quiches and breads. But don’t let second fiddle fool you. The Genovese brand was perfectly made and my Long Black arrived with about two centimeters of rich crema atop of it. Like a liquid creme brulee! The fit-out is cute clean and comfortable. If you’re going to visit – make sure you’ve eaten healthily beforehand so you can take full advantage of your neighbourhood Hausfrau’s goodies. ...
