Big Beach Day Out 2010

Treat yourself to a day at Williamstown beach with VU’s International Student Support (ISS) team.  Experience Melbourne’s summer culture and meet lifeguards from Life Saving Victoria.  You can find out about water safety and join in the fun activities on the beach or in the water using some of the life saver equipment including: Nipper boards Body boards Life jackets  Rescue tubes  There will also be a beach flags competition and various other beach games. The orientation program introduces you to life at Victoria University and Melbourne. It provides you with essential information about your course. Throughout orientation you will have opportunities to meet students and staff from your course as well as getting to know other students who are new to VU.
