Market Sale News

Well the Thread Den market in North Melbourne was a great day. I met lots of you wonderful crafty people and it was nice to see some of my fabrics made up into things that are now for sale.It's nice knowing that these fabrics are out there being used and have wonderful new lives and homes. Insides of lovely journals, dresses, tops, kids gear and now some lampshades i'm tippin' the lovely Tamara from Retro Print Revival loaded up. I am still waiting to hear if I have a spot at the next Thread Den market next month. SLOWBEER IS TURNING JAPANESE!

Very much back into the swing of things this week with new releases aplenty! As previously mentioned there will be somewhat of a Japanese invasion this week with Baird & Hitachino gracing our shelves for the first time. There will also be news of next weeks Holgate tasting & as usual a number of brewery & beer reviews. FEATURE BREWERIES HITACHINO NEST (JAP) An offshoot of the 180 year old Kiuchi sake brewery. The Hitachino nest range of beers have been in production since 1996 & still utilize some traditional methods of kiuchi sake brewing. As you may have noticed its been a relatively quiet few weeks on the slowbeer front, reason being that I have been traveling the east coast of oz & visiting the odd brewery or two...or three! The aim of this policy is to provide a way for Council to equitably allocate sports fields in Boroondara for a variety of users (schools, clubs and commercial operators).

Council would like to invite everyone to have their say about what they think is a fair process.
